In 2017, HHL was engaged to design concepts for exterior firepits and interior renovations to the revered Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, NY. HHL worked directly with Club Management and designated MGC committee, under their oversight. One design task resulted in two conceptual exterior firepit options, designed and rendered for different locations behind the Clubhouse, with views to the golf course.

HHL designed the renovation to 1,350 sq. ft. of basement level storage space into a new golf simulator and lounge for member use. Space was carved out for two simulator bays and a comfortable, cozy member lounge area with soft seating for viewing. The Club directly engaged High Definition Golf for procurement and installation of state-of-the-art golf simulator equipment. One simulator system was installed with the second hitting bay finished and fitted out for future installation of another simulator. This new, highly popular member amenity space is fully accessible with food and beverage service. Mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems within the space had to be relocated and raised for required headroom clearances. Cost estimate was prepared with the assistance of BRD Construction, a general contractor based in Buffalo, NY. The project was completed in Fall 2017.
