Originally a furniture store and later a jewelry store, 686 Main Street was a vacant three-story structure in downtown Buffalo’s Historic Theater District. This project restored the white glazed terra-cotta exterior and recreated the missing commercial store front of the 1920’s. The ground floor is comprised of commercial retail space, offices are on the second floor, and nine loft style apartments are on the third floor. The facades were also restored to SHPO standards.
