“Niagara Falls the Next Big WNY Development Hub?”

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) – Niagara Falls has plenty of old historic buildings.

“These buildings have a ton of potential and a ton of charm” Dan Crowther, TM Montante Development Project Manager said.

It’s what led TM Montante Development to a block of Niagara Street spanning from 610 – 624, where they are preparing for the construction of a 30 thousand square foot, multi-use facility that will hold 17 apartments, and become the new home of the Niagara Global Tourism Institute.

“We think that it’s going to be transformative” TM Montante Development Director of Development Byron Deluke said.

The new facility will need to abide by historic restoration standards which will cost the Development company about $5 million to complete. Montante Development thinks this could be the beginning of a big development future in Niagara Falls.

“We do think the wave is coming and the opportunity is significant here in Niagara Falls” Deluke said.

Construction on the new facility should begin in early 2019, with a hopeful completion of 2020.
