The El Paso chapter of the American Institute of Architects recognized outstanding local architecture projects at its annual gala, held Oct. 20 at Epic Railyard.
Those awarded are: Honor Award, Alvidrez Architecture for the EPCC Architecture Discipline building; Merit Award, Root Architects for the R.B. Stevens building; Merit Award, PSRBB, IND and CGN Designs for The Substation; Merit Award, ASA Architects, HHL Architects and In*Situ Architecture for Roderick Artspace Lofts; Honorable Mention Award, Alvidrez Architecture for City of El Paso Streetcar Maintenance and Storage Facility; and Honorable Mention Award, Agency Architecture for the Silenced Surface installation.
The event, which included a presentation by Elaine Molinar of international design firm Snohetta, benefitted AIA El Paso’s emerging professional and educational sponsorships.
