HHL Architects designed this “NY Deli” style restaurant for Delaware North Companies at the ground level of their former World Headquarters. Except for the local arena and airport, this was the first local restaurant for this Buffalo-based company. The “Vito’s” label is now employed in airports and other facilities they operate across the country.

The space is open to an exterior fountain/skating rink and has interior and exterior dining provided. The design is minimalist and includes an eclectic collection of tables and chairs, natural wood grid ceiling with spot lights over the food preparation areas, and tall exposed ceilings with paddle fans over the dining areas. The food line uniquely represents the three distinct services provided: Grille & Sandwiches, Salads, and Coffee/Dessert. This downtown restaurant is frequented by the thousands of downtown office workers and is routinely “standing room only” during lunch time.
