In 2019, HHL was engaged by Severyn Development to design new construction for four (4) separate (for sale) townhouse single-family dwellings, located on a vacant 65’ x 120’ parcel at the corner of 14th Street and Jersey Street in Buffalo. The site is located adjacent to the City of Buffalo’s Allentown Historic District, in a dense, older residential neighborhood.

Each townhouse dwelling will three (3) stories high and approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of living space and 2-car attached garage. Elevated entry porches with stone-faced low walls will provide an extension of outdoor living space at each townhouse dwelling. First floor entry level will be living space with 2-car garage. Second floor is wide open space with Kitchen, Dining and Living Room that overlook the Grover Cleveland HS park-like greenspace. Third floor finished spaces comprise the master suite bedroom/bath and guest bedroom/bath. A penthouse provides access to an open rooftop terrace, positioned to overlook the expansive greenspace below.

The townhome exterior palettes will have classic ironspot blended brick with rock-face cast stone veneer at the primary street and corner/side facades. PVC trim will be used to clad the traditional box-bays, bordering high-end aluminum clad wood windows. Painted fiber-cement lap siding will be used at the rear façade and rooftop penthouse exterior walls. Each townhouse dwelling will be fully fire sprinklered. The project will be constructed in Spring 2020 and completed by year end.
