The project team began with a preliminary study developed with the input of theater consultants and engineers to assess the needed performance and environmental upgrades.

HHL Architects designed enhancements to the auditorium including improvements to stage rigging, lighting, power and flooring upgrades, proscenium fire curtain, house lighting and power upgrades, sound system and assistive listening upgrades, emergency lighting upgrades, and television system wiring.
