HHL Architects was engaged to produce a study evaluating and recommending a construction phasing plan for infrastructure renovations required for three campus buildings. A strategy was developed to incrementally shut down sections of each building for renovations and identify other buildings on campus deemed suitable for “swing space” to relocate departments and functions during the construction period.
Utilizing site inspections, review of existing and proposed construction/planning documents, including meetings with administration, staff and department representatives, all relevant program data was compiled to inform the recommendations. Budgets and scheduling plans were also developed and included in the phasing study.
