In 1994, HHL was hired by the Erie County Department of Environment & Planning to provide an assessment for multiple public-use buildings within a consortium of 32 Erie County municipalities. The task and report were like what was supplied to the City of Buffalo for their ADA Transition Plan.
Then, in 1996, we were engaged by Erie County’s Department of Public Works to provide studies for county-owned public buildings, much like the city and consortium. In total, the HHL Team surveyed and generated assessment reports on nearly 650 buildings within Erie County. This experience involved insight on how to handle a multiple-site project task.
