HHL Architects developed an adaptive reuse design for this former Main Street auto dealership building acquired by Canisius College. In addition to a complete interior demolition, the exterior facades were repaired and/or restored, new landscaping was installed, and all roofs were replaced. Existing ornamental terrazzo showroom floors were retained and incorporated into the new interior corridor and office areas.

New mechanical, electrical and air conditioning systems were installed. The two-story portion of the facility was converted into a “Human Performance Center” which included office, classroom, laboratory and fitness spaces to be used for physical evaluation, athletic training, and testing.
