HHL Architects developed a concept design for a new state-of-the-art student service center for the purposes of centralizing the admissions, registration, advisement and student account functions of the campus into a centralized and prominent location. UB hopes that this new facility will function as a new “front door” for the campus. The design incorporated a second-level bridge to connect the new building to the existing corridor that connects each of the core campus buildings.

This building is also intended to represent a model of “green” design for the campus. The design was prepared to utilize the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.
