Completed in 2009, the design of the new Thoracic Clinic at Roswell Park Cancer Institute accommodates new service models for outpatient treatment. Four medical teams work in “pods” consisting of two exam rooms, two counseling/treatment rooms, and a team conference/work room. There are also support spaces including special procedure and treatment rooms which are shared by the four teams. Central reception space welcomes patients and provides a waiting area.

The design was developed in accordance with DASNY and NYS Department of Health regulations. The work was completed as part of a term contract to provide architectural design services for the Institute.
